Even though I was born in Colorado during a snow storm, my earliest memory of snowfall was on a school day in Clanton, Alabama. The painting (oil on paper) is of a tree line filled with snow; where when we were kids would pick honeysuckles. Most of the materiels used on the frame were sorced from that land; Pinecones, rabbit fur, cast iron, and an old window frame.
